Dease Lk. Boya Lk. June 2nd - 6th
The roads for the most part are fairly good, some frost heaves and pot holes but not too bad. Some spots are narrow, with no lane lines but still safe at 90km per hour. On the way to Dease Lk. caught up to a Fifth Wheel that was doing between 75 and 80 kph, the speed limit is 90kph. Finding a long straight stretch, I decided to pass him, I was just about up to his door when he decided to slide over into my lane. I got on the horn before he hit us and he woke up and got back in his lane. I am sure he was not paying attention and looking at the sights. I might add, there are no lane lines of any kind, so it is easy to kind of drift around a bit. Gets the old heart pumping.
We made it to the Lions campground on the Tanzilla River, it is about 10k from Dease Lk. After trying a couple of sites, I did manage to get into this one. They charge $10 a night. The other site we fit in was taken. We then went into Dease Lk to buy propane, with the cool weather, we are using a fair amount.
Dease LakeNext up Boya Lk PP.
Pat testing the water to see if it was warm enough to go swimming. lolIt was nice there, we decided to stay two nights, it was nice enough to have a campfire. We are now in Watson Lake, fuel, shopping, laundry and more propane, sigh. We will only stay tonight then head for Teslin Lk. TP. Another one of our favourites. Can't remember if we get cell in Teslin, if not we will see you in Whitehorse.

Drive safe. How is the weather? Finally warming
